Terms of service

Last updated: 18 September 2026

1. Scope and provider

These terms apply to the use of the website algevia-mathetraining.com and to the purchase of the digital content offered there. The provider of the website and the content is Finn Silas Adams, Adolf-Pohlmann-Straße 10, 24376 Kappeln, Germany, e-mail: business.algevia@gmail.com.

The offer is aimed at consumers. If a user is a minor, the consent of their legal guardians is required for a purchase.

2. Contracting partner for purchases

Payment processing and the sale of the digital content are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland (Stripe Managed Payments). When you buy, you conclude the purchase contract with Stripe under the terms Stripe shows you on the payment page. Stripe calculates value added tax and issues the receipt. The content itself is provided by the provider and is subject to the terms of use in section 5.

3. Offer and prices

The products are collections of mathematics problems as PDF files. Scope, structure, number of problems and distribution of difficulty are stated on the respective product page. The prices stated there are final prices in euros including statutory value added tax. No shipping costs apply.

Information on the curriculum relevance for individual German federal states is provided for orientation without guarantee; which content is required in an examination is determined by the respective requirements of the states and schools.

4. Account, purchase and provision

A purchase requires an account with a confirmed e-mail address. The purchase is triggered by completing payment on Stripe's payment page. Once the payment is confirmed, the purchased product is assigned to the account and is available under "Account → My products".

A purchase applies to the product in all language versions offered for that product now or added later. The provider is not obliged to create further language versions.

Retrieval takes place through time-limited signed addresses. Access continues as long as the account exists and the payment has not been reversed.

5. Rights of use

With the purchase, the user receives the simple, perpetual right to use the file for their own private purposes, to download it, to store it on their own devices and to print it for themselves.

The following in particular are not permitted: passing on, copying or making the file or its content publicly available to third parties, whether for payment or free of charge; use in classroom teaching, tutoring institutions or for other groups without a separate agreement; removing identifying marks; use for building one's own problem collections or for training automated systems.

The content is protected by copyright.

6. Withdrawal

Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with the withdrawal policy. For digital content it expires if the user has expressly consented before the purchase to provision beginning before the end of the withdrawal period and has acknowledged that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal. Refunds are processed through Stripe; a refund ends access to the file.

7. Reviews

Signed-in users may write reviews. Reviews are read before publication; the provider may decline to publish or may remove reviews without giving reasons, in particular in the case of advertising, insults, legal violations or lack of reference to the product. The user grants the provider the right to publish the review on the website. Whether a purchase existed at the time of writing is labelled.

8. Availability and changes

The provider endeavours to keep the website constantly available but cannot guarantee this; maintenance and faults may lead to interruptions. Products may be provided in updated versions; the current version then replaces the previous one in the account. The offer may be changed or discontinued at any time; products already purchased remain retrievable as long as the website is operated.

9. Liability

The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health. In the case of slight negligence, the provider is liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. The content is created with care; no guarantee is given for the correctness of individual problems or solutions. Errors are corrected once reported.

10. Account deletion

The user may request deletion of their account by e-mail. Deletion ends access to purchased files. Orders remain stored without reference to the account because of statutory retention obligations.

11. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the state in which they have their habitual residence. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of doubt, the German version applies.
